About Launch Point

Short-term trips.
Long-term impact.

About Launch Point

Launch Point is the short-term missions trip ministry of ABWE. As a ministry of ABWE, we leverage resources and ministry partnerships built over the last 94 years ministering in 84 countries to provide long-term opportunities through short-term trips.

We maximize short-term missions trips to ensure the greatest long-term impact on ministry and participants.

Launch Point trips are:

  • Explicitly gospel-centered
  • Focused on long-term ministry impact
  • United with local missionary and ministry partners
  • Designed to maximize your spiritual growth
  • Made to strengthen national churches and communities
  • Built on a foundation of 94 years of gospel advancement

Our Model

Launch Point trips follow a 3-step process to ensure participants are properly prepared, challenged, and utilized for maximum ministry impact and spiritual growth.

1. Preparation

The Preparation stage involves training focused on spiritual, cultural, and physical readiness before you go. Launch Point provides leader and participant training to equip your team for maximum impact.

2. Application

The Application stage focuses on applying spiritual principles on the field. Launch Point provides leader guides and participant journals to help guide each day, including devotions and application questions, to enhance spiritual lessons and experiences throughout the trip.

3. Transformation

The Transformation stage follows the trip. We help participants digest spiritual lessons and encourage missions engagement at home and beyond.

If you are looking for an overseas ministry trip for your family, church, group, or yourself, let us maximize your time and resources for long-term impact.
